 👉 When a learned Chinese priest called upon a Zen master for scriptures...

                      

💢 A learned Chinese priest became jealous of the fame of a Zen master from the
southern part of China and he met that Zen master and said that I want to study

the scriptures with you in a gathering among scholars.

💢 "He who wins in the scriptures among us is considered the greatest scholar. The

Zen Guru said, "We don't need to do scriptures. I have no qualms against a

learned priest like you, so I accept your supremacy."

💢 However, Kung defied the scriptures and then presented his knowledge in front of

a gathering of scholars for three days. After Kung demonstrated his knowledge to

the scholars for three days, it was the turn of the Zen master to speak on the

fourth day.

💢 He stood up and said only, "Don't think bad; don't do bad, do good, it will be good.

That's all I have to say." Having said that, he sat down.

💢 Kung got angry. He said to him, "You are kidding me." Doing this? Even a child

can say this.

💢 By speaking like this in the meeting of scholars, you are insulting the scholars as

well. You either study the scriptures with me or accept your defeat." The Zen

master said, "I have already told you that I accept defeat. .There is no need to do

scriptures for that!'

💢 Kung said, 'The decision of winning or losing should be made at the end of the

scriptures!' The Zen master said, 'I am ready to accept defeat. So the question of

winning or losing does not arise here, but I am surprised by that. Nor can an aged

scholar like you live according to the sentences that a small child understands.

💢 Then what is the use of your knowledge? I have said what I had to say.

💢 I do not know anything special about this. I only understand that in these two

sentences the essence of all the religions of the world comes.

💢 At that moment, a flash occurred in Kung's mind and his ego dissolved in an

instant. He realized that A person who has been given knowledge does not want to

prove his knowledge. From that day, his pride that he is the most knowledgeable

person disappeared.

💥 માત્ર બે જ વાક્યો માં દુનિયા ના બધા ધર્મો નો સાર છે.

👉 ચીન ના એક વિદ્વાન ધર્મગુરુ એ એક ઝેન ગુરુ ને શાસ્ત્રાર્થ માટે આહવાન આપ્યું ત્યારે....

💢 ચીન ના વિદ્વાન ધર્મગુરુ ને ચીન ના દક્ષિણ વિસ્તાર ના એક ઝેન ગુરુ ની ખ્યાતિ થી ઈર્ષા

થઇ અને તેમને તે ઝેન ગુરુ ને મળી ને કહ્યું કે મારે વિદ્વાનોની વચ્ચે તમારી સાથે સભામાં

શાસ્ત્રાર્થ કરવો છે.

💢 આપણા બને વચ્ચેના શાસ્ત્રાર્થ માં જે જીતી જાય તેને સૌથી મહાન વિદ્વાન ગણાવો. ઝેન

ગુરુ એ કહ્યું આપણે શાસ્ત્રાર્થ કરવાની જરૂર નથી તમારા જેવા વિદ્વાન ધર્મગુરુ સામે

મારુ કોઈ ગજું નથી એટલે હું તમારી સર્વોપરિતા સ્વીકારી જ લઉં છું.

💢 જો કે કુંગે શાસ્ત્રાર્થ માટે દુરાગ્રહ કર્યો અને પછી ત્રણ દિવસ સુધી વિદ્વાનો ની સભા સામે

પોતાનું જ્ઞાન રજૂ કર્યું. કુંગે પોતાનું જ્ઞાન ત્રણ સુધી વિદ્વાનો સામે પ્રદર્શિત કર્યું એ પછી

ચોથા દિવસે ઝેન ગુરુ નો બોલવાનો વારો આવ્યો.

💢 તેઓ ઉભા થયા અને માત્ર એટલું જ બોલ્યા "ખરાબ વિચારો નહિ;ખરાબ કરો નહિ,સારું

કરો તો સારું જ થશે.મારે બસ એટલું જ કહેવાનું છે."એટલું બોલી ને તેઓ બેસી ગયા.

💢 કુંગ ઉશ્કેરાઈ ગયા.તેમને કહ્યું,"તમે મારી મજાક કરી રહ્યા છો?આ વાત તો કોઈ બાળક

પણ કહી શકે.

💢 વિદ્વાનો ની સભા માં આવું બોલી ને તમે વિદ્વાનો નું પણ અપમાન કરી રહ્યા છો.તમે ક્યાં

તો મારી સાથે શાસ્ત્રાર્થ કરો અથવા તો તમારી હાર સ્વીકારવી લો.ઝેન ગુરુ એ કહ્યું ,'મેં

તમને પહેલા જ કહી દીધું હતું કે હું હાર સ્વીકારી લઉં છું.એ માટે શાસ્ત્રાર્થ કરવાની જરૂર

નથી!'

💢 કુંગે કહ્યું,'હાર-જીત નો નિર્ણય તો શાસ્ત્રાર્થ ને અંતે જ થાય!'ઝેન ગુરુ એ કહ્યું,'હું હાર

સ્વીકારવા તૈયાર જ છું.એટલે અહીં હાર-જીત નો સવાલ જ ઉભો થતો નથી,પરંતુ મને

આશ્ચ્રર્ય એ વાત નું થાય છે કે નાનકડા બાળક ને જે વાક્યો સમજતા હોય એ પ્રમાણે

તમારા જેવા વયોવૃદ્ધ વિદ્વાન ધર્મગુરુ જીવી શકતા નથી.

💢 તો પછી તમારી વિદ્વતા શું કામની?મારે તો જે કહેવાનું હતું એ મેં કહી દીધું.

💢 આથી વિશેષ કશું હું જાણતો નથી.મને એટલું જ સમજાય છે કે આ બે વાક્યો માં જ

દુનિયા ના તમામ ધર્મ નો સાર આવી જાય છે.

💢 એ ક્ષણે કુંગ ના મન માં એક ઝબકારો થયો અને તેમનો અહંકાર એક ક્ષણ માં ઓગળી

ગયો.તેમને સમજાયું કે જે માણસ ને જ્ઞાન લાધી ગયું હોય એ પોતાની વિદ્વતા સાબિત

કરવા મથતો નથી.

એ દિવસ થી તેમનો એ વાત નો અહંકાર જતો રહ્યો કે પોતે સર્વાધિક જ્ઞાની માણસ છે.
