An ordinary girl from Odisha achieved an extraordinary feat
🔆 A little girl from Ayatapur, a remote village in Odisha, raised her voice against
the village's rule of not allowing girls to study beyond standard seven and got
permission to go to a nearby village after gathering the entire village and arguing
with the sarpanch for hours.
🔆 The girl managed to get into a nearby high school, but then her second exam
began.The nearest village was fifteen kilometers away from his village and he had
no other option but by walk there.
🔆 The girl started walking fifteen kilometers every day to go to another village to
study.She used to travel thirty kilometers during the day. That road was also inland
and hilly. Regardless of summer heat, winter cold or monsoon rains. She used to
travel thirty kilometers on foot everyday.
🔆 That girl completed her high school studies in this way. Then she decided to study
in college.The permission of the Sarpanch and the village was obtained, so he
could go out for college.
🔆 She got admission in a government college in Puri city and started studying in Puri.
However,she soon realized that her parents were struggling financially to educate
her, so she found a job in Puri. Besides, she was brilliant in studies, so she started
getting scholarships.
🔆 Thus the girl graduated with Economics. After that she got MA degree with Oriya
literature. After that she also got LLB degree.
🔆 After completing her studies she started looking for a full time job. she got a job in
the Finance Department of Govt.
🔆 After some time he got a good paying job in a bank. However, he was not satisfied
with that. He started thinking about doing business and after some time started
printing business. Within a few years she became known as an entrepreneur.
🔆 After achieving personal success, she thought of doing something for rural women.
She started a magazine in which she started writing articles to create awareness
among Indian women. She also started writing books focusing on women. She
gained fame as a writer and many of her books became popular.
🔆 Then in 1987 she started organizations called Nirbhaya Vahini and OYSS for
women. His organization began to financially support girls to study. Apart from
this, the organization also started the work of training girls in self defense and
helping them in cases of domestic violence.
🔆 His name became well known and he received many awards and honors from home
and abroad. He was also honored by the President.
🔆 This woman is writer and activist and social worker Mansi Pradhan. Mansi
Pradhan proved that a person can find a way out of any odd situation and move
forward.
ઓડિશા ની એક સામાન્ય છોકરીએ અસાધારણ સિદ્ધિ મેળવી
🔆 ઓડિશા ના અંતરિયાળ ગામ અયાતાપૂર ની નાનકડી છોકરી એ છોકરીઓ ને સાત
ધોરણ થી આગળ ન ભણવા ના ગામ ના નિયમ સામે અવાજ ઉઠાવ્યો અને આખા ગામ
ને ભેગું કરીને અને સરપંચ સાથે કલાકો સુધી દલીલો કરીને નજીકના ગામમાં ભણવા
જવાની પરવાનગી મેળવી.
🔆 છોકરી નજીકની હાઇસ્કૂલમાં પ્રવેશ મેળવવામાં સફળ રહી, પરંતુ પછી તેની બીજી પરીક્ષા
શરૂ થઈ. નજીકનું ગામ તેના ગામથી પંદર કિલોમીટર દૂર હતું અને ત્યાં ચાલીને જવા
સિવાય તેની પાસે બીજો કોઈ વિકલ્પ નહોતો.
🔆 તે છોકરી દરરોજ પંદર કિલોમીટર ચાલીને બીજે ગામ ભણવા જવા લાગી.તે દિવસ
દરમિયાન આવવા-જવા નો ત્રીસ કિલોમીટર પ્રવાસ ખેડતી હતી.એ રસ્તો પણ પાછો
અંતરિયાળ અને ડુંગરાળ હતો. ઉનાળા ની ગરમીની, શિયાળા ની ઠંડીની કે ચોમાસા માં
વરસતા વરસાદ ની પરવા કર્યા વિના તે રોજ ત્રીસ કિલોમીટર નો પગપાળા પ્રવાસ કરતી
હતી.
🔆 તે છોકરી એ આ રીતે હાઈ સ્કૂલ નો અભ્યાસ પૂરો કર્યો.એ પછી તેને કોલેજમાં અભ્યાસ
કરવાનું નક્કી કર્યું. સરપંચની અને ગામની પરવાનગી મળી ગઈ હતી એટલે કોલેજ કરવા તે
બહાર જઈ શકે એમ હતી.
🔆 તેને પુરી શહેર માં ગવરમેન્ટ કોલોજ માં પ્રવેશ મેળવ્યો અને પુરી માં રહી ને તે ભણવા
લાગી. જોકે તેને થોડા સમય માં સમજાઈ ગયું કે તેના માતાપિતા તેને ભણાવવા માટે
આર્થિક રીતે બહુ ખેંચાઈ રહ્યા છે એટલે તેને પુરીમાં નોકરી શોધી લીધી.આ ઉપરાંત તે
ભણવા માં તેજસ્વી હતી એટલે તેને સ્કોલરશીપ પણ મળવા લાગી હતી.
🔆 આ રીતે તે છોકરી એ ઇકોનોમિક્સ સાથે ગ્રેજ્યુએશન કર્યું.ત્યાર બાદ તેને ઉડિયા સાહિત્ય
સાથે એમ.એ ની ડિગ્રી મેળવી.એ પછી તેને એલ.એલ.બી ની ડિગ્રી પણ મેળવી.અભ્યાસ
પૂરો કર્યા પછી તેને ફૂલ ટાઈમ નોકરી શોધવા માંડી.તેને સરકારના ફાઇનાન્સ
ડિપાર્ટમેન્ટ માં નોકરી મળી ગઈ.
🔆 થોડા સમય પછી તેને એક બેંક માં સારા પગારથી નોકરી મળી ગઈ. જોકે તેને એનાથી
સંતોષ નહોતો.તેને બિઝનેસ કરવા માટે વિચારવા માંડ્યું અને થોડા સમય પછી પ્રિન્ટિગ
નો ધંધો શરુ કર્યો. થોડા વર્ષો માં એન્ટરપ્રિન્યોર તરીકે તે જાણીતી બની ગઈ.
🔆 વ્યક્તિગત રીતે સફળતા મેળવ્યા પછી તેને ગ્રામ્ય વિસ્તાર ની મહિલા ઓ માટે કશુંક
કરવાનું વિચાર્યું. તેને એક મેગેઝીન શરુ કર્યું જેમાં તે ભારતીય નારીઓ માં જાગૃતિ લાવવા
માટે લેખો લખવા માંડી.તેને મહિલા ઓ ને કેન્દ્ર માં રાખીને પુસ્તકો પણ લખવા માંડ્યા.
તેને લેખિકા તરીકે નામના મળી અને તેના ઘણા પુસ્તકો જાણીતા થયા.
🔆 એ પછી ૧૯૮૭ માં તેને મહિલાઓ માટે એક નિર્ભયા વાહિની અને ઓવાયએસએસ
નામની સંસ્થાઓ શરૂ કરી. તેની સંસ્થા છોકરીઓ ને ભણવા માટે આર્થિક સહાય કરવા
લાગી. એ ઉપરાંત છોકરીઓ ને સેલ્ફ ડિફેન્સ ની તાલીમ આપવાનું અને ઘરેલુ હિંસા ના
કિસ્સાઓ માં મદદરૂપ બનવાનું કામ પણ એ સંસ્થા દ્વારા તેને શરૂ કર્યું.
🔆 તેનું નામ ખુબ જાણીતું બન્યું અને તેને દેશ-વિદેશ ના અનેક એવોર્ડ્સ તથા માન-સમ્માન
મળ્યા.રાષ્ટ્રપતિ દ્વારા પણ તેનું સન્માન થયું. આ મહિલા એટલે રાઇટર અને એક્ટિવિસ્ટ
તથા સોશ્યિલ વર્કર માનસી પ્રધાન.
🔆 માનસી પ્રધાને સાબિત કરી બતાવ્યું કે વ્યક્તિ ધારે તો ગમે એવા વિષમ સંજોગો માં થી
પણ રસ્તો કાઢી ને આગળ વધી શકે છે.
